We believe strongly in the value of open data and have worked hard to contribute to the availability of data for analysis by the broader community. Our primary outlet for data publication is Ecological Archives Data Papers, which provide long-term stable access and require nothing more than the citation of the data paper. No contacting us, no proposals, no permissions, no putting us on as "data authors", just pick up the data and use it. Datasets that we have published so far include:
- Ernest 2003. Life history characteristics of placental non-volant mammals.
- Smith et al. 2003. Body mass of late Quaternary mammals.
- Ernest et al. 2009. Long-term monitoring and experimental manipulation of a Chihuahuan Desert ecosystem near Portal, Arizona, USA.
- Thibault et al. 2011. Species composition and abundance of mammalian communities.
