Muhammad Saqlain is an MS student at the University of Education, Lahore. He has been selected for Google Summer of Code 2026 to work on Recovering Historical Image Data Using Automated OrthoRegistration and Image Matching with the DeepForest project. His work focuses on building an automated pipeline to align historical forest health survey annotations with satellite imagery, enabling large-scale training data recovery for ecological computer vision models.
